Last week Marvel released the first issue of Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. If you’ve listened to the podcast, you know that I have recently gotten back into comics. I always ignored them as a kid because I hated reading, but I appreciate comics (and reading) more now that I’m all grown up. I downloaded the first issue through Comixology on day one and I have to say, it’s pretty epic. Today was the release of the second and it was just as good. For those of you who don’t want spoilers and are Marvel fans, I highly suggest picking this up or downloading it. Today marks a special occasion. We get a quick glimpse at the highly secretive world of Marvel Heroes. Gazillion Games has been working on this for some time and surprisingly not a whole lot of info has made its way to the interwebs. Today, they released a first look video including gameplay and some CGI. It introduces us to the first main enemy…good ol Doctor Doom. What’s that? You have the cosmic cube? OMG everyone run! It’s not a big in-depth look, but it’s enough to peak my interest. Marvel Heroes is going to be a free to play MMO which will supposedly change MMO life. Enjoy the above trailer and keep an eye out for more as it is released.
We’re going to try something a little different this week. We’ll take a little time to discuss the previous weeks happenings, but then focus on one main topic. This week we’re going to talk about what everyone wishes they had…super powers! It’s perfect timing leading up to The Avengers release this week in theaters. Some other randomness discussed:
Why should Xbox Live and PSN have all of the fun? Capcom just announced that Marvel vs Capcom 2 will be heading to iPhones and iPod Touch on April 25th. This is exciting, but there’s no iPad version which leaves me down and out. Screenshots are available after the jump. Continue reading
