New Adventure Time Game Trailer Might Make Me Watch The Show

I have been fighting the urge to watch Adventure Time for a while now.  I saw a little bit of one episode and thought it was entertaining, but it also left me thinking I would get addicted if I started to watch more episodes.  After watching the above trailer, along with a glowing endorsement from Annette, I may just have to start.  What do you think about this trailer and the show?

The Game That Should Be On Wii U: Silent Scope

Silent Scope has always been one of my favorite arcade games.  The imagination of a shooter game while having a sniper gun attached with a screen within the scope was amazing.  There was a version of this game released on the original Xbox with a gun controller, but it was a bust.  The controller couldn’t bring the same feeling as the arcade.  With the Wii U controller having a screen in it, I feel like this is the opportune time to bring it back. Episode 11: E3 Madness and Apple Madness

Episode 11 is now available as Jesse and M.C. Clap Yo Handz discuss so many things that were announced during E3 along with some details of the updated product line from Apple.  There was so much to discuss somehow we managed to not bring up Halo 4!  Some specific topics:

E3: Pikmin 3 Trailer from Nintendo

I’ve only played a small portion of Pikmin, but I did enjoy what I saw.  I have a soft spot for those lil guys.  Yesterday, Nintendo announced Pikmin 3 and they have released a video for everyones viewing pleasure.  The one thing that caught me off guard is that the Olimar is not in this game.  Nintendo is keeping the details of that to themselves for now.  The cool thing about this version of Pikmin is that the Wii U controller acts as a map overview giving you the ability to zoom into the actual game play and still understand what is going on.  There are pictures of the game after the break. Kirby is Almost Twenty and Makes Me Feel Old

Along with Nintendo’s announcement of New Super Mario Bros. 2, they snuck in some details on a 20th anniversary Kirby game.  Later this year they will be releasing a Wii game which will contain a bunch of older Kirby games and maybe more. I said some details were released…not a book.  I remember playing Kirby for the first time on my brick sized game boy and loving it.  I can’t wait to see what else is coming with this.

Nintendo Confirms New Super Mario Bros. 2 for 3DS

This morning Nintendo slyly revealed that we’re getting second installment of New Super Mario Brothers 2.  I highly enjoy these side scrollers, but the last New Super Mario Brothers allowed me to get a ridiculous amount of lives.  I could have played god and given out life to other players!  Anyway, right now it’s scheduled for release in August for 3DS, but that could always change.  Here are some screenshots for your viewing pleasure.

Glimpse At Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 Trailer

Yet another Pokemon game to add to your bucket list. I’m always expecting to see Ash in these games, that’s never the case. Few things to learn from this trailer. First off, visors are in. Secondly, there seems to be some interesting rivals. You have an overly tan guy with his shirt off and a mad scientist? Who cares though, you’ll kick their asses and get your badge. Release date for Japan is June 23 for Nintendo DS. Looks as if we’re going to have to wait for a future update on the Western release. It is rumored that it might be making it’s debut here this fall.

Who Needs Fatal Frame When You Have Spirit Camera

I am a huge fan of the Fatal Frame franchise and while we haven’t seen one officially released in the states lately, this game has me excited.  Tomorrow Nintendo will be releasing Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir and it will be EPIC.  The game uses an alternate reality (AR) notebook which interacts with the 3DS’s camera giving you a full immersion feeling.  The similarity to Fatal Frame really lies in the fact that you’re taking a picture of ghosts, but Spirit Camera may not be as scary.  I am really excited for this game because I’m a huge horror fan and I’ve been looking for a new game to give me that chilling creep factor. Enjoy the trailer above and go check out this game!
