JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Announced with Screen Shots

Add another anime to the list of ones that I’ve never heard of.  Today, Capcom sent out an official announcement (with screenshots) of the upcoming game JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD Ver.  This 2d fighter is based off of the anime series with the same name.  The game was apparently released on the Dreamcast 8 years ago and has been remade into an HD Xbox Live/PSN release.

The games online matchmaking will utilize the same type of system as  Super Street Fighter IV and Marvel Vs Capcom 3.  You will earn battle points for individual characters and player points for yourself through your fights.  These points will be utilized to help increase player skill and move up through the leader boards.

The cool new online feature will allow an 8 player multiplayer lobby allowing players to host fights with two players and the other 6 watching.  Then, if you win, the loser is left to watch and the next player joins in.  You will also be able to record and share fights to gloat or have yourself laughed at.  JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD Ver will be released on Aug 21st through PSN for $19.99 and Aug 22nd on Xbox Live for 1600 MSP.  Screen shots are after the break. New Way to Earn Xbox Live Rewards from Achievements This Fall

I have been a member of Xbox Live since it was in the beta stages on the original Xbox.  Hence why my gamer tag is of an Anime character from the series Blue Seed.  I was watching that at the time because the series was first released in a DVD Box set.  So when the Microsoft came out with Xbox Live Rewards I signed up instantly.  Well, today Microsoft released a interesting little tidbit about an upcoming way you can earn more reward points.  Achievements!  Yes, to mark the achievement of @xboxliverewards gaining 50k followers they released this tease.

We’ve hit 50,000 followers, which means it’s time for an announcement! Coming Fall: a new way to earn Rewards based on your Achievements!

No details, just that.  It’s still an interesting thought…especially since I’m an achievement whore.

Sour Patch Kids Come to Home Consoles

Sour Patch Kids - World Gone Sour

Capcom has released World Gone Sour for PSN and Xbox Live today.  In the game you play as a Sour Patch Kid making your way through human environments trying to get yourself eaten.  You come across other Sour Patch Kids which can give you new powers.  They can also be used to solve puzzles and advance further through the game.

When I saw this press release hit my inbox I wasn’t sure what to expect.  After looking into this game a little more it sounds entertaining.  You can get World Gone Sour now on Xbox Live for 400 points or PSN for $4.99.  There are more screen shots after the break.
