An Open Letter to Bioware

Dear Bioware,

It took me a long time to really dive into the Mass Effect games.  To be honest, I played through one and two shortly before three came out and I loved every second of it.  I may have been one of the few people to accept the ending(s) of Mass Effect 3 despite a few lingering questions.  However, you have answered the mass amount of fans who were not happy with the ending(s) you provided and have graced us with updated content to give us fans closure.  This is what I have to say. New Way to Earn Xbox Live Rewards from Achievements This Fall

I have been a member of Xbox Live since it was in the beta stages on the original Xbox.  Hence why my gamer tag is of an Anime character from the series Blue Seed.  I was watching that at the time because the series was first released in a DVD Box set.  So when the Microsoft came out with Xbox Live Rewards I signed up instantly.  Well, today Microsoft released a interesting little tidbit about an upcoming way you can earn more reward points.  Achievements!  Yes, to mark the achievement of @xboxliverewards gaining 50k followers they released this tease.

We’ve hit 50,000 followers, which means it’s time for an announcement! Coming Fall: a new way to earn Rewards based on your Achievements!

No details, just that.  It’s still an interesting thought…especially since I’m an achievement whore.

Before Call of Duty 4 came out, Medal of Honor was probably the most popular war game you could find.  Yes, the Call of Duty war games were epic, but Medal of Honor was a HUGE franchise.  Well, with E3, Medal of Honor is back in what looks to be a pretty epic adventure.  The announcement trailer is above and we have some screen shots after the break.  If you aren’t excited about this, I’m sorry.  It looks like so much fun! E3: New Splinter Cell – Blacklist Trailer Available Now

Splinter Cell has always been an amazing franchise.  The thought and detail into sneaking around and killing folks for the greater good is the franchises specialty.  Today, I’m proud to bring you the official trailer of Splinter Cell: Blacklist.  There are a lot of new features to this game including connect voice commands.  You can say “Hey You” to distract patrols and more!  Once we get more information we’ll post it, but for now, enjoy this video.

E3: South Park Stick of Truth Video and Pictures

One of the few things I really enjoyed from the Xbox press conference was the announcement of a South Park game.  South Park: The Stick of Truth is a unique RPG game which starts off with you as the new kid in town.  From there the kids LARPing turns into a true battle of good vs evil.  It looks amazing and I really can’t wait.  Screen shots after the break and trailer above!
